Last updated 25 September 2026 · How much does a web app cost? · Next.js vs WordPress

A web application does a job, not just shows information: customer portals, booking systems, internal dashboards, marketplaces, quoting tools and SaaS products.

We build in Next.js and React with a Postgres database (often through Supabase), authentication, and integrations such as Stripe, email and your CRM. Everything is deployed to Vercel or AWS, and the code lives in your GitHub.

We start with the smallest version that proves the idea, then grow it. Fixed prices per scope, agreed in writing before work starts.

What is included, and what is not

Included

  • Scope and fixed price agreed in writing first
  • Screen designs before development
  • Next.js and React front end with a Postgres database
  • User login, roles and integrations as listed
  • Weekly test links while we build
  • Code in your GitHub and a bug-fix period

Not included

  • Hosting, database, email and payment fees (billed to your accounts)
  • Features outside the agreed scope (quoted separately)
  • Native mobile apps (see our iOS and Android gig)

Who this is for

A good fit if

  • Founders who want to launch an MVP without hiring a team
  • Businesses that need a customer portal, booking system or dashboard
  • Agencies that want a white-label tool built

Probably not for you if

  • You only need a marketing website (see our Next.js or website gigs)
  • The idea is not yet clear enough to describe the main workflow; start with a consultation

How It Works

1

Scope the smallest useful version

We write down the screens, users and one core workflow, with a fixed price, before any code.

2

Design the screens

Clickable wireframes so you can see how the app works before it is built.

3

Build in weekly releases

You get a working link every week to test, so there are no surprises at the end.

4

Launch and support

Deployed on your domain with the code in your GitHub and a bug-fix period included.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which technology do you use?

Usually Next.js and React for the app, Postgres for the data (often through Supabase) and Vercel or AWS for hosting. If you already have a stack, we can work in it.

Are hosting and third-party costs included?

No. Hosting, database, email and payment fees are billed to your own accounts, so you control them. Most small apps start on low-cost plans.

What if my idea is bigger than these tiers?

We scope it on a free call and split it into phases with fixed prices, so you only commit to one phase at a time.

How long does a web app take?

About 3 weeks for an MVP, 6 weeks for a business app and 10 weeks for a platform, depending on how quickly we get feedback each week.

Can the app grow later?

Yes. We build on a standard stack so features can be added over time by us or any other developer.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. We are happy to sign an NDA before you share the details of your idea.

Can you add AI features?

Yes. We build AI features such as chat, document analysis and summaries using OpenAI or Claude, priced as part of the scope.

Your software: your code, your accounts, no dependency on us

Custom software is the biggest ownership question of all. Here is how we make sure you never depend on us to keep running. These are written commitments; if you want them confirmed under the company name, reply to your order email and we will send them signed.

Our prices: web applications ₹71,904 (MVP), ₹1,91,904 (business app) or ₹4,79,904 (platform), fixed per written scope. Running costs (hosting, APIs) are yours, in your accounts.

1. Who owns the code?

You do, 100%, on delivery. The repository is created in your GitHub from day one and we work inside it, so you can watch every commit. Intellectual property is assigned in the two-page agreement; we keep no licence and do not reuse your code.

2. Whose accounts does it run in?

Yours. Hosting (Vercel, AWS or similar), the database, domain, Stripe, email and any API keys are all created in accounts owned by your business. We are added as collaborators and can be removed at any time.

3. What if I want another developer to take over?

They can, immediately. Every project ships with the full repository, documentation and setup notes. We build on mainstream stacks (Next.js, React, Node, Postgres) precisely so anyone can pick it up.

4. What is included after launch?

14 days of free fixes after launch. After that, maintenance is optional: take it in-house, ask for quoted changes, or put us on a monthly retainer. There is no forced support contract.

5. What are the ongoing costs?

Only third-party running costs, billed to your accounts: hosting (often free or a few hundred rupees a month at small scale), any APIs, and app store developer fees (₹9,504 a year Apple, ₹2,400 once Google). We give you the expected figure before you order.

6. How do I know the scope will not creep?

The price is fixed against a written scope before we start, with milestones you approve. Anything outside the scope is quoted separately before it is built, never added to the bill afterwards.
